Gardens, Parties, and Printable Gift Tags

I LOVE spring. The flowers, the warmer air, the light. It seems like everyone crawls out from under their blankets and brightens up and becomes more sociable. We do a lot more entertaining, and it seems like we’re not alone. I don’t think a weekend goes by when we’re not invited out to someone's home. 

Of course you never want to arrive at a party empty handed, even if you just bring your own wine. For summer gatherings, I favour flowers, or potted plants, or some local berries or veggies as soon as they come into season. I mean who doesn’t like organic strawberries or snap peas? To go the extra distance, wrap your offering up in some summery tissue paper with a pretty ribbon and a thoughtful tag.

And speaking of tags…I've put together a little addition for your hostess gifts–my spring gift to you. These printable gift tags double as a tiny mini-print that your host can keep after the gathering. There are four different tags. Just print them out on nice paper, and after the event, the print can be easily trimmed off the tag and framed, or put in a memory keeping journal. Don’t forget to print a set for yourself!
