In-Person Paintings at Twelve Acre Hill Gallery
Every year the Peggy's Cove Area Festival of the Arts is one of the highlights of the summer in Nova Scotia, and the Studio Tour weekend is a keystone of the festival.
During the three days of the tour, studios, group showings, and galleries are open to visitors, showcasing the artists and galleries of the South Shore of Nova Scotia. I'm so happy that it's going ahead in person this year, and also that I will be participating in advance of my move to Nova Scotia next month.
I've written about Twelve Acre Hill Gallery before--it's always been a favourite, run by a good friend. It's in a spectacular, scenic location on the Peggy's Cove Road, and features the work of Philip Hodges and Patricia Lindley. This year, for the studio tour I will also be represented, with several small abstracts hanging in the new studio space.
PS. Don't forget there will be a break in my ability to ship paintings as I move to Nova Scotia.
If you've been thinking of acquiring one of my paintings, and it isn't one you see on the wall above, you have until July 23rd to purchase it and have it shipped before the end of the month. After that, I won't be shipping paintings until September 1, after I arrive in Nova Scotia.
